High Quality Water Jet Cut Parts

Waterjet cutting is a versatile and precise method of cutting a wide range of materials using a high-pressure jet of water mixed with an abrasive substance. Waterjet cutting can cut through metals, ceramics, glass, stone, rubber, plastics, wood and more, without generating heat or dust. Waterjet cutting is ideal for applications that require accuracy, speed and minimal waste.

At Watts Welding Shop, we offer waterjet cutting services for various industries and projects. Whether you need to cut intricate shapes, complex patterns, or large-scale parts, we have the equipment and expertise to meet your needs. We can handle any size and thickness of material, from thin sheets to thick plates. We can also cut curved or angled surfaces, as well as holes and slots.

State-of-the-art

We use state-of-the-art waterjet machines that can operate at pressures up to 60,000 psi and cut up to 10 inches thick. Our machines are equipped with advanced software and controls that allow us to adjust the cutting parameters and optimize the quality and efficiency of the process. We can also provide secondary operations such as drilling, tapping, bending, welding and finishing.

Cutting projects can be done with existing CAD or design files or, for some cases, we can help design your 2D cuts with our in-house CAD service. If you already have a design that you’d like cut, you can use our quote form to upload a CAD file right from our website.

If you are looking for a reliable and cost-effective waterjet cutting service for your project, contact us today. We will provide you with a quote and a fast turnaround time.

Advantages of Water Jet Cutting

  • N

    Precision

Water jet cutting is known for its high level of precision and accuracy. It can cut intricate shapes, sharp corners, and fine details with minimal tolerances, making it suitable for various applications in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing.

  • N

    Versatility

Water jet cutting can be used to cut a wide range of materials, including metals (e.g., steel, aluminum, titanium), plastics, glass, ceramics, composites, rubber, foam, and even food products. This versatility makes it a valuable tool for many industries.

  • N

    Minimal to No Heat-Affected Zone

Unlike traditional cutting methods like laser or plasma cutting, water jet cutting generates very little heat during the process. This helps prevent material distortion, warping, or changes in material properties, making it ideal for heat-sensitive materials.

  • N

    Environmentally Friendly

Water jet cutting is an environmentally friendly process because it does not produce hazardous fumes, smoke, or dust. It also minimizes material waste, as it can be used for nesting parts efficiently.

Local orders or shipped orders.

We work with local orders within driving distance of our shop, but we can also ship your order anywhere in the continental United States.

Water Jet Cutting is great for:

Production

The large range or materials available, tight tolerances, and speed of water jet cutting make it perfect for mass producing parts.

Prototyping

Water Jet machining is consistently used for prototyping because of the vast range of materials available and speed with which adjustments can be made.

W

Blank Preparation

Water Jet cutting can quickly and accurately prepare materials for other manufacturing processes.
